Asia Term 2026: Official Kick-Off Day in St.Gallen

The session was hosted by Prof. Dr. Stefan Morkoetter together with Katharina Beckmann and Kimberly Maria Ng from the Asia Term Programme Management team. Participants received an introduction to Singapore, an overview of the Asia Term structure, and insights into what they can expect during their time abroad.

Then, the opening lecture for the course Business Development in Asia was delivered by Prof. Dr. Michael Hilb. The lecture highlighted essential principles of business development while underscoring the role of cultural dynamics across Asia, offering valuable perspectives on the regional environment students will encounter in Singapore.

Following the lecture, students and faculty shared lunch together, creating an opportunity for participants to connect, exchange thoughts on Singaporean culture and university life, and discuss their expectations for the upcoming months. The day concluded with an informative practical session covering key administrative details and logistical preparations for the Asia Term.
