Rather than offering general subjects, the SGI attempts to teach topics which are focused and well-designed, offering our students an Asian perspective on various core topics. Traditional teaching in the classroom is complemented by out-of-classroom activities as well as learning through case studies and company projects. This approach helps to deepen the understanding and strengthen the ability to judge and to value.
"Tell me and I forget. Show me and I remember. Involve me and I understand." This Chinese proverb summaries very well the didactic concept of both the SGI and the University of St.Gallen.
