PhD student in Innovation and Strategy at the University of St. Gallen, researching innovation ecosystems and technology commercialization, following a decade leading cross-border deep-tech and healthcare innovation initiatives in Asia.
Previously, I led strategic innovation initiatives across Singapore’s science-to-market ecosystem, working at the intersection of technology adoption, venture building, and corporate innovation for healthcare technologies, including digital health, medical devices and life sciences. This included advancing SME innovation at IPI Singapore (a subsidiary of Enterprise Singapore), driving deep-tech venture creation at Duke-NUS, supporting technology transfer and commercialization at the National University of Singapore, and building healthcare partnerships at MetLife’s global innovation hub. In these roles, I built and scaled incubator and accelerator programs, and supported portfolio ventures with strategic guidance across business development, go-to-market planning, market access, regulatory strategy. Our portfolio collectively secured over USD 75M in private capital (as at 2020). Additionally, I built international innovation bridges across Asia, Europe, and North America, enabling soft-landing support, ecosystem access, and commercialization pathways for startups and SMEs expanding globally.
I am passionate about designing globally connected innovation engines that advance health outcomes and technology competitiveness.
