Asia Term Farewell Dinner

Highlights from the Asia Term 2023 Farewell Dinner; which marked the success and celebration of an intense four months - filled with studying, exploring Singapore, traveling around Asia and different social activities. With some good food and drink overlooking the sunset and the Singapore skyline, there was no better way to bid Auf Wiedersehen to this great group.

The evening commenced with a welcome Prof. Dr. Stefan Morkötter, who looked back fondly on the past year and how the Asia Term has grown. Prof. Dr. Gralf Sieghold (Chairman of the SGI) echoed such sentiments and thanked all guests, students and partners for the trust and partnership over the years. We were fortunate to have also with us that evening, Prof. Dr. Bernhard Ehrenzeller (President University of St.Gallen) and Prof. Dr. Manuel Ammann (President elect University of St.Gallen), who both reinstated the importance of the Asia Term for HSG students in nurturing intercultural competence and growing one’s network personally and professionally!

Joining the evening were also our corporate partners. Thank you for journeying with our students throughout the semester through the Business Consulting course, and whose valuable experience and insight have left their impact in more ways than one. And finally, the 69 students whom we are pleased and privileged to call our “Asia Term class of 2023”, thank you for spending your exchange semester with us in Singapore. We hope that it has been filled with new experiences, meaningful memories and formed friendships that will stick with you in the years to come!
