After an energizing exploration of Asia's important role in the clean energy market, the fifth cohort of participants in our part-time executive education programme in renewable energy management (REM-HSG) enjoyed their graduation ceremony in Singapore on 11 March 2016.
After six modules in St.Gallen and one in Berlin, diving into the dynamics of South-East Asia was an eye-opener for many participants. A rich set of expert speakers and a full day of excursions helped participants answer questions like: Will India become the next solar power house? Which South-East Asian markets are particularly promising for distributed generation? How can financing offshore windparks in Asia benefit from European experience? And how does Chinese ownership change the prospects of a Norwegian solar cell manufacturer in Singapore?
At the end of an inspiring and insightful week competently curated by Dr. Pushkala Ratan, we look forward to seeing our fresh graduates leave their mark in the energy market. The next edition of REM-HSG will start in January 2017, and online applications are now being accepted on our website.
